Ben & Jerry’s take ice cream to the next level

10 Feb

Ben and Jerry’s has launched a new unique product , taking the ice cream experience to the next level, announced in the United Kingdom on February 9th 2012.

One of the few new flavours: 'Dough-ble Whammy'

The American company announced their release of their most recent concoction with a combination of three flavours in one product.

The new Ben and Jerry’s desserts have a sauce centre, surrounded by two different flavoured Fairtrade ice creams, giving you three flavours in one bite.

General Mills announced their release of an almost identical product under the Haagen Daz name back in December 2011.

There will be three variants available in the UK, Karamel Sutra, Dough-ble Whammy and Berry White, selling at GBP4.99 for 50cl and will be out in Tescos and other stores in the weeks to come.

It was about time that Ben and Jerry’s came out with a new product and is exciting but are British people really going to be motivated to buy a £5 tub of ice cream in the middle of a recession?
