Valentine’s Day dinner under $10

16 Feb

This year, romantic candle-lit dinners were available for couples in American fast food chains on Valentine’s Day, February 14th 2012.

The fast food chains White Castle, Pizza Hut, Chick-fil-A, Waffle House and others, set up a Valentine’s Day theme in their restaurants for romantic customers all over the United States.

With the on-going financial crisis, consumers were careful with prices and spending this year, even on this holiday and in these establishments a romantic evening did not cost them more than $10 per person.

The companies set up the inside of their restaurants with table cloths, flowers, balloons, candles, Valentine’s Day-themed menus and even table service.

No one has ever said that this romantic holiday should have to be an expensive one but why would anyone take someone they supposedly ‘love’ to a cheap fast food restaurant? If a boyfriend of mine had ever taken me to one of these places for Valentine’s Day I would have screamed and died inside.

If I ever took my girlfriend to such a place I would be the one screaming and dying inside… 😛
Interesting touch though and agree that whoever does that deserves a kick in the head… 😛
